Summer Soccer

Welcome to the LILSL summer session 2009.  We will again be playing on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm sharp. Refs will start watches at that time since we run out of light by the end of the season. All games will be at the Stonybrook P Lot fields. It will be a seven game season.  The dates are as follows: 

The cost for the season is a onetime fee of $65.00 per player.  This includes the ref fees, field fees, field set up, insurance and team tank top.

Registration is as follows:

  1. If you already have a pink pass (have played in the summer league before), you can mail your roster (which can be downloaded here) with a check for $65.00 (made payable to LILSL) to:

    DEADLINE FOR MAIL IN REGISTRATION IS JUNE 18TH.

  2. If you mail in your roster, please don't forget to include your tank sizes.
  3. There will be two registrations at the league office (only).  The dates and times are June 25th, 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. and June 30th, 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.  June 30th is the last day you can register.  There will be NO registrations done at the field the day of the first game.  No exceptions. 

If you are new to the summer league, you must come to one of the two office registrations.  You will need a small photo that we will keep and a check for $65.00 made payable to LILSL.  Your pass will be made there.  If you did not return your pass or the team rep did not return all passes, there will be a $5.00 fee to replace the pass.  After you sign up, the passes will be held by Jackie.  Keep in mind, no passes will be made at the field.  If you mail in your registration, and we cannot find your pass, we will contact you to make arrangements to get a new pass.

There is limited space for the summer league, with a lot of interest.  Do not wait too long.  As of now, we will have six teams, with 20 players per team.  We will make every effort to keep members of the same team together if at all possible.  With mail in registrations, mention what team you currently play for, or would like to play for, and if we can we will accommodate you.

When we reach the limit, we will begin a waiting list.  If any slots become available, you will be notified by July 6th.  If we do find that there are enough people on the waiting list to make eight teams, we will.   We will not make seven teams; no team will have a bye with such a short season.

Any player holding either their own pass or any team members’ passes please make sure to mail them to Jackie with your registration.
